(Reuters) -Flexible workspace provider WeWork on Monday named David Tolley as its chief executive officer.
In May, Sandeep Mathrani stepped down as chief executive officer of the company.
WeWork went public in 2021 under Mathrani's leadership, navigated the pandemic, cut costs, boosted revenue across business segments, and restructured and strengthened the balance sheet.
Tolley has been a WeWork board member since February 2023 and was interim CEO since May 2023.
